Privacy Policy
Let’s keep things simple.
We could write a long winded Privacy Policy full of legal jargon and hithertos but we wanted to try to just communicate in plain english. It's a saying that's thrown around, usually recklessly and without merit, but we'll go ahead and say it: We care about your privacy. Hopefully, by making our privacy policy easy to understand we can convey how serious we are. That said, if we get something wrong or you feel like we’re not addressing something please reach out immediately.
  • We don’t collect any personal data.
  • We don’t track you.
  • We don’t use cookies so we don’t need any stupid, obtrusive banners wrecking our sweet, sweet design.
  • If you provide information via the contact form, we don’t (and won't) sell that information to anyone. We won’t put you on some spammy mailing list either.
  • The information you provide via the contact form is transmitted over an encrypted connections and stored in a secure database on servers hosted by Google. In fact, all of our servers are hosted by Google. Google uses best in class encryption.
  • Information collected via the contact form, or via email, is used solely to make a business or employment connection. Information you send us will go into a secure database and will be deleted as soon as possible. If you have concerns, reach out and we can delete your data immediately.
  • We don’t use analytics on our site. However, we do count visits (as a number only) and the type of device you visited with. This is so that we know whether more or less users are visiting each week and what devices people are using so we can optimize the site. We don’t track any personal information or information like your IP address, country, gender, age, etc. That’s not nice. If you want to opt out of this, enable the Do Not Track setting in your browser then we won’t count you.
Again, if you have any concerns or think we are missing anything, please reach out at hello@theyakka.com. We'd love to answer your questions.
